Food for the Weekend
Meeting tangible needs in our community by providing weekend meals for students and families.
The Need in Our Community
Many students in our local schools rely on school-provided meals during the week. But when the weekend comes, food insecurity becomes a harsh reality for many families in Bryan County.
"Food for the Weekend" is our response to this need. We believe that by meeting physical needs, we open the door to meet spiritual needs. We pack and distribute bags of nutritious, easy-to-prepare food to ensure no child goes hungry over the weekend.

How You Can Help
Living on mission means stepping into the gap. Here are three ways you can partner with us to feed our community.
1. Donate Food
We collect non-perishable, kid-friendly food items every Sunday. Items like peanut butter, jelly, mac & cheese, granola bars, and fruit cups are always needed.
2. Pack Bags
Join us on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM to pack the food bags for the upcoming weekend. It's a great opportunity for families and groups to serve together.
3. Give Financially
Your financial contributions allow us to purchase food in bulk and fill in the gaps when donations are low.
